APAYAO RIVER

 

Apayao River is a river on the island of Luzon in the Apayao Province of the Philippines. It flows from an extensive watershed in the western slopes of the province, flows past the town of Kabugao and runs into the Pacific Ocean at the coastal town of Abulug.

The river is picturesque through much of its length, and features a number of waterfalls and other features as it runs through the center of the province.

The river is unpolluted,  with wildlife and fishes still visible along its banks. Various Water Falls of different sizes can be found along the Apayao river.

This is highly regarded by the locals as an unpolluted and pristine river.  Apayao River traverses  6 Apayao municipalities and can be navigated by motor boats.

The Apayao River flows from the town of Calanasan to Luna. This unpolluted river serves as the home of several species of fish. Along the river can be found an array of picture-pretty waterfalls that are varying in sizes.
