Darigayos Beach

Luna. The last town of La Union, Philippines. A small town which was named after Juan Luna, one of the Philippine heroes.  Fish and gravel are the main products from this place; obviously because they’re surrounded with water.

Luna has 40 barangays (district). One of the best barangays is Darigayos.  Darigayos offers recreation to those who are on tight budget but would still like to have a fantastic break. Although there are few things to enjoy there—swimming, snorkeling, diving, boating—the place is still good for relaxation. You’re stressed out and you’d love to enjoy tranquility, white sand, sunset and food? Go to Darigayos. The beach in Darigayos is clean, clear and peaceful. You’ll see a lot of hermit crabs and nice rock formations in the seashore.  Read More:  http://atingtahanan.wordpress.com/2012/05/23/simple-yet-captivating-darigayos/

Pebble Beach

Pebble Beach has a never ending supply of colored stones. Locals say that they’ve been quarrying for years and the stones just keep coming their way. Even local children join in on the fun, placing tiny rocks in old water bottles to sell. On this beach you will also find the remnants of an old lighthouse, built during the Spanish period and used in WWII. Only the ruins remain, but it sure makes a great backdrop for photos. – http://itsmorefuninthephilippines.com
