HAVE FUN IN CATANDUANES
Visit Museo de Catanduanes

This place is a good source of information for Catanduanes history. Located within Virac town proper, it is easily accessible. A small museum, one can finish the tour within in an hour or two at the most.
Despite being on the smallish side, it has enough artifacts, maps, photographs and other historical collections that will give the first timer to Catanduanes (or the prodigal Catandunganon) a good snap-shot of provincial history. The youngest of the three resorts in Puraran, Pacific Surfers’ Paradise opened early this year. In fact, they were still doing the last brush strokes and fitting doors into frames on their air-conditioned rooms when we got there. Puraran Beach is one of the most beautiful beach and one of the top surfing destinations in the Philippines. – Read More: http://www.choosephilippines.com/stay/resorts/1564/surfing-in-catanduanes-where-to-stay-puraran-beach/

I put my feelers out to my friends and managed to locate a motorbike I could borrow on arrival. Have a Picnic
Thanks for the waves, Pacific Ocean! Visit the so-called “surfing mecca” of Catanduanes in the morning for high tide and the best waves. In the afternoon, you can sit back and order food from the restaurants nearby. They all serve steamed lobster, how about that? Drew and the crew also found rainbow-colored pichi-pichi, cassava cake, binamban (a pentagon-shaped dessert made with coconut and sticky rice), fresh coconuts, and pancit canton made with green, vegetable-based noodles.
