Surrounded by islands, islets, rocky coves and sugar-white sandy beaches, Palawan is indeed one of Asia’s most alluring tourist destination. – Text from: http://www.asiatravel.com/palainfo.html#top
In the Philippines, tourists are surrounded by butterflies in this garden of exotic Philippine flowering plants. Occasionally, one can witness the emergence of a young butterfly and other unusual insects such as the praying mantis, stick and leaf insects, giant scorpions, atlas beetles and other jungle insects. Palawan Butterfly Garden is a conservation project that can be successfully done on nearly any site from an urban rooftop to a suburban schoolyard, from a landscaped island at a business, to an expansive golf course garden. Imagine if we all did it? Our landscapes would not only be more beautiful, but they would provide corridors of habitat to sustain native butterfly populations across the Philippine. – Text from: http://asiawonder.blogspot.com/2011/05/palawan-butterfly-garden-of-exotic.html
Visit Smith Beach! The place is relatively peaceful since it is isolated. It features crystal clear waters and amazing limestone cliffs. The beach is also perfect for snorkeling to see the rich marine life. The stillness of the location makes Smith Beach a good place to lounge and relax after having lunch by the shore. – Text from: https://www.wanderingeducators.com/best/traveling/discover-philippines-8-facts-coron.html
If you visit the place, you will be amazed by its beauty and the clear water that surrounds it. The abandoned mansion and the shrine are the famous landmarks of the place. It is also a great spot for photographers because of its 180- degree viewing experience. Why not consider the place as your pre-nup shoot venue? Romantic! – Text from: http://www.palawanresortshotels.com/astonishing-spots-in-palawan/
Mount Tapyas’ most revered cross and Palawan’s main landmark is approximately more than 2,000 feet above sea level. Sabang beach is indeed a beautiful beach where you can enjoy its clear water and very fine sand. When we reached the place, only a few tourists were swimming on the beach maybe because it was scorching hot then. If you would plan to stay for a day or two in Sabang, there are quite a lot of accommodations (from the cheapest-most expensive) to choose from. But keep in mind that most of the rooms are not airconditioned. This place has no electricity and just depends on the generator that is being used from 6pm – 1am. Busunga Island is composed of two towns, Busuanga and Coron but the place is most popular to tourists simply as Coron. Because of the numerous wonderful, and more superior beaches and tourist spots in Coron, Ocamocam has not been placed on the must list for those visiting Coron. – Text from: https://philippinebeach.wordpress.com/2014/09/19/ocamocam-beach-new-busuanga-busuanga-busuanga-island-palawan/
Snake Island’s name was derived after its snake-shaped form of elongated sand bar. Snorkeling is a must do activity in the island, so make sure that you have the gears already before leaving the wharf. Another cool thing is feeding the fishes, extra bread or rice will already do. – Text from: http://www.mountainsnbeyond.com/2012/06/snake-island-honda-bay-palawan.html
Huma Island Resort is a luxurious island paradise escape set in Busuanga, Palawan in the Philippines. The glorious island and its surrounding area was dubbed as one of the top 10 Island Destinations around the globe (by National Geographic) and it is surrounded by stunning panoramic views of crystal blue waters of the South China Sea with abundant colourful marine life. – Text from: http://worldtop7.com/uk/huma-island-resort-palawan/
From Siete Pecados, we went to Atwayan Beach for some beach activities and lunch. The kids jumped into the water immediately while our bangkeros prepared our food on the beach. There were these little huts along the beach. Getting there early was important as these huts were few. As we would learn later through lunch, the place would get pretty crowded. Atwayan was one of those little islands which served as picnic areas in the Coron area. Apparently there are a few of these little beaches for this purpose. – Text from: http://lakwatsero.me/2009/08/atwayan-beach-coron-palawan-day-2-part-2-june-5-2009/
Our next stop was at Coral Garden. When our boat anchored, a brood of tiny jellyfish (thousands of them, if not millions) surrounded our boat so we had a hard time jumping off. I got stung thrice and I still have the marks more than a week after, but it was worth it. – See more from: http://stolenwanders.blogspot.com/2011/04/coron-day-2-black-island-coral-garden.html
