The Palawan Butterfly Garden and Tribal Village aims to attract and educate tourists of the beautiful butterflies that are natural to Puerto Princesa and at the same time introduce indigenous members of the Palawan tribe.
Aside from butterflies, you can see some beetles, geckos and other insects in the Palawan Butterfly Ecological Garden and Tribal Village. It also serves as home to rescued animals. If you’re going to do the Puerto Princesa City tour, make sure to visit the butterfly garden and witness first-hand tribal village people at the Palawan Butterfly Garden and Tribal Village. Aside from the usual butterfly sanctuary, the garden also presents many species of lizards, insects, crocodiles, and the like. Aside from the garden, the place also has a tribal village where visitors are allowed to have a glimpse of the behavior and way of living of some of the local tribesmen. A post by the entrance area states as follows:

Imagine if we all did it? Our landscapes would not only be more beautiful, but they would provide corridors of habitat to sustain native butterfly populations across the Philippine.
