BEACHES, RESORTS AND DIVE SITES
Batangas has some great beaches which are perfect for children. Some have a stretch of shallow water that gently tapers off for nearly 600 feet, making it ideal for swimming and splashing around. Others have a nicely developed scene with plenty of water sports equipment for hire and boating excursions. Most of the rest of the beaches are pretty and some have decent coral gardens ideal for snorkeling.
Whatever kind of beach experience you want can be found in Batangas. The coastline of this province has quiet, secluded stretches of sand as well as more developed areas with resorts and water sports.

The Submarine Garden is also located in the town of Lobo. The garden consists of living corals near the shore and is one of the beaches of Lobo. It can be clearly seen during the early mornings when the water is clear and the tide is low.
Layag-Layag Reef

Layag-Layag Reef is an exxtensive coral formation on a shallow, steep slope. On the south side of this open-water area, a ledge drops to about 90 feet from the surface. Big jacks swim to within a few feet of the surface, although the larger fish tend to be somewhat timid.
Limbones Island

At 7 miles to our North, Limbones Island is the farthest coastal distance we travel, but well worth the journey as the fish have formed a compact “haven” within a variation of pristine soft and hard corals.
