Antique is not one of the more popular tourist destinations in the Philippines. But, if you’d rather spend your vacation in a quiet place, then you might want to visit Antique. It is fast becoming one of the most popular hot spots in the Visayas region, and for many good reasons, some of which are:
A journey to the mountains of Madja-as is an experience, a beautiful mountain scenery, different species of flora and fauna, rare orchids, pitcher plants, wild herbs, wild deer and boar, cloud rat, a bonsai forest looking neatly trimmed, a lagoon, and a rainforest that provides Madja-as a weather of its own.
Hidden in the lush green scenery is a multi-tiered waterfalls called Bugtong Bato, one of the 17 waterfalls of Tibiao, Antique. Bugtong Bato is a 7-tiered waterfall in which the height of the first waterfall is at least 75 feet.
The Tibiao River is one of the best white water rivers in the country perfect for kayaking. It boasts of crystal clear waters suitable for white water rafting/kayaking at various grades of difficulty, from beginners to professionals.
Sibalom Natural Park is a 5,511.47-hectare (13,619.1-acre) protected area in the Philippines on the island of Panay in the municipality of Sibalom, Antique. It was proclaimed a natural park on 23 April 2000.[1] It is considered as one of the last remaining lowland rainforests on Panay.
The park was first established on 28 June 1990 as the Tipulu-an Mau-it Rivers Watershed Forest Reserve covering 7,737 hectares (19,120 acres) of an important watershed. Text from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sibalom_Natural_Park
