Nogas Island is an inhabited marine reserve, reachable in 20 minutes by sailboat or motorboat from the shoreline of Anini-y town proper. The island is surrounded by white sand beaches and is ideal for bird watching, shell hunting, scuba diving and snorkeling.
We alighted from our boat and walked towards the mysterious island. A white shore made of coarse sand, crushed pebbles, bleached corals, and the remains of seashells forms a border between the sea and the foreboding green woods.

Nogas Island is a 24-hectare government naval reservation island with a lighthouse. It is 3 miles from the shoreline of Anini-y town proper and can be accessed by sailboat or motorboat within 20 minutes. It is an uninhabited marine sanctuary located at Anini-y, AntiquePhilippines.
