INTERESTING PLACES IN ALBAY

 

Albay province is very rich in historical sites, educational places and recreational venues. This is the Home of the famous and most active Mayon Volcano. But aside from Mayon there is the famous Cagsawa Ruins, Lignon Hills and so many others. In its capital city alone, Legazpi City, two days is not enough to visit all the beautiful places here. Lignon Hill

Lignon Hill  is located near Legazpi Airport. The hill stands at 156 meters (511 feet) tall and has best view of Mayon Volcano and the whole Albay. It is best to go there in the morning if you want to see Mayon Volcano without the clouds. When it’s in the afternoon, the clouds tend to cover the volcano. It is also good to go there during the late afternoons up to evenings so that you can see the sunset and the lights of Albay.  Read More:pinoytravelr.com

 

 

San Miguel Island

San Miguel Island is located off the eastern coast of Albay in the Lagonoy Gulf. It is part of Albay’s chain of islands that include Cagraray, Batan and Rapu-rapu.
