Charlie’s Point

The exact location of Apocalypse Now is named after the famous line of the film. Remember “Charlie don’t surf”?
It also has both right-hand and left-hand breaks (right-hand: a wave that breaks from left to right, surfer turns right to catch the wave) but with medium-sized waves. If Sabang gets too packed with student surfers, Charlie’s Point is the next best place to go since it’s also a beach break.
Found at the mouth of Aguang River, Charlie’s Point is an half hour walk from Sabang Beach and a few minutes’ tricycle ride from town proper. Read More: http://www.choosephilippines.com/do/adventures-and-sports/1741/Baler-Aurora-surfing-spot-beach/
Dicasalarin Cove

There have been a number of write ups sharing the beauty there is in Dicasalarin Cove, a secluded haven privately owned by the Angara Family located in Baler, Aurora. We were guests of the beautiful resort Costa Pacifica, also owned by the same family, Angara. Curious to see whether the place is as grand as many previous visitors have said, we decided to embark on our own day tour to witness firsthand this majestic cove.
Upon reaching the top point, entry to the cove, we handed our passes and proceeded directly downhill this time to reach the cove side. After another few minutes of on the edge driving, we have reached our destination point. We have arrived in Dicasalarin Cove and the place was breathtaking! The cove was secluded and it reminded me of this childhood computer game I used to play called Myst. It was mysterious and only the sound of the wind and the waves crashing was audible. Every other sound seemed to get lost within these two major sounds. There were no one else in the area and the continuous rhythmic exchange of waves and wind was somewhat calling us to come in and explore its majestic scenery. Dimadimalangat Islet

Dimadimalangat Islet is located Off the coast of Barangay Cemento, Baler, Aurora, Philippines.
The rock formation is actually a small island just a few meters away from the reef shore of Barangay Cemento and serves as a point identifying the southernmost tip of Baler Bay. During low tide, this islet becomes a peninsula, of sorts, where one could walk and wade from the reef shore to this natural rock formation. Around this island are reefs for the more daring divers.
