TOURIST DESTINATIONS
IN SAMAR
Samar province is caught between mountain and sea. It is hilly, with mountain peaks and narrow strips of lowlands, which tend to lie in coastal peripheries or in the alluvial plains and deltas accompanying large rivers. It includes almost every kind of topography: mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, plains, coasts, and islands and is blessed with a lush rain forest harboring tropical flora and fauna, crossed by multiple navigable rivers, pocked by mysterious caverns and refreshing waterfalls. A tourist wanting something out of the ordinary may experience all these wonders of nature and still only be a few hours from civilization. – http://www.tourism.gov.ph/SitePages/InteractiveSitesPage.aspx?siteID=47
Blanca Aurora Falls

Or the glow of a white dawn. Indescribable. Maybe more fun. Or an enigmatic union with the aquarius. Or engaging. Or soothing. Or cleansing, even. Guinogo-an Cave is situated at the fringes of Brgy. Lungsob, Oquendo District, is 17 kms. Poblacion, 15 minutes hike from the barangay. It’s cathedral door-size entrance leads one to wade the fresh, cool water into a natural tunnel stretching through uneven ceiling touching one’s head, giving the adventurer an eerie trip through the dark cave lighted torches. Lo-ok Beach

This beach resort is most often visited due to the accessibility of the place. It can be reached by a 30-minute ride from Calbayog City and 10 minutes from Tinambacan District. Its white sand, blue waters, swaying palm trees, towering rocks and concrete rest houses give the spot a “South Seas Island” touch. What is most inviting is the cool water, which is different from other beach resorts. Read More:http://samar.lgu-ph.com/tourism.htm
