BILIRAN ATTRACTIONS

Caibiran, Biliran Island is part of the beautiful tropical Philippines paradise of Biliran Province. Mainit Hot Spring

The Mainit Hot Springs are a popluar tourist attraction near Caibiran in Biliran Province. Biliran Island is like one large Volcano with many peaks and valleys full of waterfalls and hot springs that make it a magical place to visit. The water at the springs is very hot! so you will normally find you can only keep your hand in the water for a few seconds, but as the water mixes with the fresh clean water from the river it cools down to more comfortable temperatures.

The Mainit Hot Springs are in Villa Vicenta Baranagy, part of Caibiran Municipality, Biliran Island. The Hot Springs are found along a long road from the small village of Mainit, that you will find on the Biliran Circumferential Road, just outside Caibiran. Talahid Beach

Still in Almeria, but after the Bagongbong Falls, we headed onward north and reached this beach called Talahid. There are resorts here, from those with rooms and other amenities like swimming pools to those that are simple little open huts called “cottages”. The sand i this beach is a little bit different from many we see. It is generally called “white sand” but there are shades from a bit yellow to a bit gold to even a bit orange or red. And coarser. Tinago Falls

Tinago Falls is just one of the waterfalls found in Biliran and is the most famous of all in the province.

The falls is accessible via a 30-minute habal-habal ride from Naval. An entrance fee of Php10 per head is collected at the viewing deck. Don’t forget to bring your own water and food.
