WHERE TO GO IN GUIMARAS

Guimaras is a small and quiet town that lives in its own pace not affected by the changes taking place in nearby places because it is separated to the mainland by seas. Ave Maria Island is located on the western part of Guimaras, with approximately 3 minutes away from Tiniguiban Island, around 5 to 7 minutes from Guimaras’ SEAFDEC and roughly 10 minutes from Raymen Resort, where we spent the night.  Read More:  http://rammmpa.blogspot.com/2011/08/guimaras-ave-maria-island.html

The Trappist Monastery is a calming place where people can meditate and reflect for inner peace and spiritual renewal. Monks of the Trappist Monastery follow the rule of the Benedectine Order, living by the labor of their hands. They have a store featuring products made by the monks, including jams, jellies, baked goods, and weaved products.  Read More:  http://travelogphilippines.com/index.php/2011/07/exploring-guimaras-island/
