Located in Alaminos City, Pangasinan is the Hundred Islands. Only three islands are being developed for tourists. You can rent a boat to show you around the different islands. There’s nothing much to do on these islands. But a beautiful place to go swimming and snorkelling. It is a nice place to spend together with family and friends and just relax as it is not crowded there. You can bring your camping gears and find a beautiful spot. A beautiful experience wherein you won’t have to spend a lot.

Hundred Islands National Park. Scattered off the coast of Lucap, Alaminos City are hundreds of islands and islets basking like giant turtles under the warm tropical sun. Drenched in aquamarine blue waters, the litany of covers and lagoons hidden in theses exotic pieces of paradise are perfect for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.

The islands are scattered along Lingayen Gulf and are believed to be about two million years old. The islands are actually ancient corals that extend well inland, in an area previously comprising the seabed of an ancient sea. Lowering sea levels have exposed them to the surface and the peculiar “mushroom”-like shapes of some of the islands have been caused by the eroding action of the ocean waves. – Text from: jeripogi99.wordpress.com
