TOURIST SPOTS IN BOHOL

Bohol is a popular tourist destination with its many caves, waterfalls, beaches and resorts. The Chocolate Hills, numerous mounds of limestone formations, are the most popular attraction. The formations can be seen by land (climbing the highest point) or by air via ultralight air tours. Panglao Island in Bohol is famous for its diving locations and is routinely listed as one of the top ten diving locations in the world. Below is a long list of interesting places to visit in Bohol, for both tourists and locals like:

Badiang Spring

Badiang Spring boasts of its continuous flowing water coming from subterranean rocks, which is its main attraction. Not just domestic tourists but as well as foreign tourists frequent the facility, which sits in a 1,250- square meter lot by the shore. Aside from its splendid natural attraction, Badiang Spring has separate swimming pools for adults and children. Its accommodation facilities include 4-room lodging houses and cottages. Bamboo Hanging Bridge

The Bamboo Hanging Bridge crossing the Sipatan River in the Municipality of Sevilla, Bohol, is a fun tourist attraction. Originally constructed using just bamboo and rope, today the rope has made way to steel cables, giving added safety and stability. The deck of the bridge is formed out of woven bamboo slats. In places some of these appear broken but its still sturdy enough to take the weight of tourists, locals and even small motorcycles.

Stepping onto the bridge is a little daunting at first, the bamboo deck flexing a little under your feet. Although the support cables are made of steel, you still experience some side to side sway and up and down bounce. Read More: http://bohollifetours.com/bamboo-hanging-bridge-sevilla.html/

Banilad Spring and Cave

Still in the same general area of Anda is Banilad spring. The area has long been converted into sort of a place of worship. A grotto with a statue of the Blessed Virgin serves as the center of attraction. Because of the extensive modification, only a small natural cave is left. This leads to a tight space with a small pond of cool and crystal clear water. An underwater tunnel exists but it appears significantly constricted. We wonder how beautiful this place must have been before its conversion into a place of worship.  Read More:  https://filipinocavedivers.com/2014/07/30/the-2007-bohol-underwater-cave-explorations/
