Nacali Falls is one of the many falls in the Province of Camarines Norte. It is located at San Lorenzo Ruiz. It takes 30-45 minutes from Daet to Brgy. Matacong, San Lorenzo Ruiz. The falls can be reached by hiking approximately 5-7 kilometers, passing through Matacong hanging bridge in San Lorenzo Ruiz. The water in the falls is cold and relaxing. It is approximately 60 feet high. This waterfall offers a good place for swimming, freshwater fishing, nature watching, and backpacking. When we reached the falls I felt so happy. It was so beautiful and almost untouched. I didn’t get a chance to swim but just staring at it and taking photos was enough to amaze me. The water was very clear that you can literally drink from it, which I did by the way. It tasted so fresh and immediately quenched my thirst. I took a video of it and it was breathtaking. It was like I’m inside a big green cave of canopy composed of giant ferns and thick vegetation. The falls was like this giant white curtain hanging from its wall. I can’t help but to imagine that there were even some water fairies and elves in the background.
