Nato Beach

Nato Beach, Sagnay, Camarines Sur is the nearest beach from home.  My family and friends come here almost every year because of its accessibility.  It’s less than an hour land travel from Pili, the capital of Camarines Sur.  Nato beach has gray sand and wavy water as a result of facing the Pacific Ocean. The waves can sometimes reach up to 5 ft high during windy season, which time is very suitable for surfing.

During summer, a lot of people comes here to experience the beach and the waves. Usually they’re from Pili, Naga, Bula and Partido area. Nato beach is also the place where the Sagnay’s Baybayon Festival is held.  Read More:  http://balance31.blogspot.com/2011/04/sagnay-sand-sun-sea-and-sigths.html

Umang Cave is a well-lit cavern, having one large chamber with three entrances and two skylights that allow much sunlight to illuminate its interior. The cave was named after the umang or hermit crabs that once thrived in abundance in this subterranean sanctuary. Large stalactites hung from the ceiling and car-sized boulders rested on the floor. Before returning down the river bed, we climbed up small “window” on the cave wall near the entrance that offered an view of the Manapot River, obscured by jungle vines. Caramoan Island is located in the lower eastern part of Camarines Sur in the Bicol region of the Philippine archipelago. It’s a first-class municipality, a rugged place of land extending into the waters of the Maqueda Channel on the north and east and Lagonoy Gulf on the south. It has a 4,000- hectare limestone forest well endowed with a rich diversity of flora and fauna. It boasts of having perfect white sand beaches, tranquil lakes, deep caves, coves and rich marine life.

Very little is known about Caramoan. Isolated from the rest of Camarines Sur, it is no surprise why Philippine’s Secret Paradise remains unexploited from commercial tourism.Caramoan gives ‘island hopping’ a new meaning. Enjoy its beauty in many ways.  Read More:  http://www.caramoanislands.com/about.php

Matukad Island

Matukad is one of the smaller islands off the coast of the Caramoan peninsula. Like many islands in the area, its beaches and surrounding waters are freckled with towering limestone cliffs. But they are not even its biggest selling point. What many visitors love about Matukad Island is its fine, fine sand that can definitely give Boracay a run for its tourist money.  Read More:  http://www.philippinebeaches.org/survivor-caramoan-matukad-island-camsur/

After our ATV Adventure to Malabsay Falls, we proceeded to Panicuason Hot Spring Resort. The resort is situated at the bottom of a forest river and it is accessible through a private roadway. Just 30 moments far from midtown Naga, the resort is a view to behold, a forest haven of old plants and giant ferns minus the wild pets. The place is composed of numerous natural pools with temperatures varying from a chilly 20 degrees Celsius to a steaming 39 degree Celsius.

A whole day at the thermal springs resort will definitely uplift one’s spirit and alleviate aching and fatigued muscular tissues with thermal spring water that originates from the earth’s bowels.  Read More: https://outoftownblog.com/panicuason-hot-spring-resort/
