The Sinanggiyaw Festival of Dumanjug highlights the abundance of the farm products of the town along with the fertility of their land. It aims to show visitors what the town can offer to the world even as the town is gradually becoming more urban rather than rural. Similar to other festivals in the archipelago, the Sinanggiyaw Festival also celebrates the feast day of the patron saint of the town, St. Francis of Assisi.
