AMAZING BEACHES & RESORTS

Davao del Norte is one of the most progressive provinces in Region XI. It has seven municipalities, namely, Asuncion, Braulio E. Dujali, Carmen, Kapalong, New Corella, Sto. Tomas, and Talaingod, and three cities of Tagum, which is the capital as well as center of commerce and governance, Panabo, and the Island Garden City of Samal, known for its white pristine beaches, great diving sites, and well preserved flora and fauna. This is where the world-renowned Pearl Farm Beach Resort is located along with other tourist destinations dotting this island of adventure. Chema’s by the Sea

Samal Island is one city that offers beach resorts and recreation area where everyone will have a real and unique bond with nature. To be one with the mother earth is to plunge into its realms so we can feel its natural soothing comfort. Samal Island is a place if you want your soul to be still.

Chema’s by the Sea Beach Resort is the simplest place I’ve been through in Samal. Simplicity is beauty as many defies it. And Chema’s is one great place to suffice you with the authentic beauty of nature. It was maintained just the way it is. One thing that makes Chema’s a simple yet elegant resort is its landscape. It was filled with dead corals and some hard wood. The landscape made Chema’s a resort by the sea it is. The theme was just right for the place or shall I say kudos for the founder of the resort. The name really described the area or the resort magnificently. It’s like pulling off the water from the sea and tsaaran! There is Chema’s by the Sea Beach Resort. Costa Marina Beach Resort

Costa Marina Beach resort is one of the more underrated but very beautiful beach resorts on Samal Island. The resort is just right across the Davao Gulf from Davao City, just minutes from the port located in the Lanang area.

Costa Marina Beach Resort is one of the most accessible resorts on Samal Island, along with Paradise Island Beach Park and Resort, Sonrisa de V Beach Resort and BluJazz Beach Resort. But while it is accessible, the resort still offers the much-coveted privacy that its competitors fall short on. Costa Marina is almost never crowded and that’s what makes it special. Dayang Beach

The beach in front of the resort has fine white sand near the water’s edge but is composed of crushed corals for the greater part. The turquoise waters are clear and quite inviting but with moderately strong waves this day we decided not to take a chance.

There’s a virtual forest of coconut palms all over the resort, making for an excellent shade. Dayang Beach faces west; we could only imagine how great the sunset views would have been had we stayed for the night here. Attractive native-style cottages amidst well-kept gardens grace the resort grounds which are kept meticulously clean. It would have made for a peaceful and relaxing overnight stay, except that there is no running water at the resort.
