Canibad Beach Resort in Barangay Aundanao Samal Island is a great place to go if you want to get away from the noise of honking vehicle and stressful life in the city. It is just a few minutes ride from Davao City plus a 10 minute walk downhill before you reach the Canibad Cove with white sand and irresistible cool splashing water.
It is one of the beach resorts which is less developed, guests should not expect to perceive classy restaurants and air-conditioned rooms. For those who want to stay overnight at the beach, it is advisable to bring a tent with you, cottages are also available for around P200 pesos per night. Since there are no restaurants in the resort, cooking your own food in designated areas is a good idea.
Despite the simplicity of the place, guests who love to take pictures will not be disappointed. Canibad Beach Resort still has a lot of beautiful subjects to offer – the nature itself will welcome you. Read More: https://fepa11.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/canibad/
Canibad Beach Resort is like an hour travel from Sasa Warf,Davao City.
But despite that long, bumpy ride, it pays out when you got there. The sea was so irresistible. The waters are so clear divided on three shades. The first two meters are good for kids and non-swimmers.
Canibad has white sand, fine sand and pebbly on some sides. Our cottage was on the center of the Canibad Cove named Canibad Secret Paradise Resort. Read More: https://itsanntidote.wordpress.com/2013/05/06/canibad-samal-beach-resort-hot-spot-this-summer/
Do you just want to be with the nature and plunge to the cold sea water? Canibad Beach is where you want to go.
Once a hidden beach in Samal is now gaining more and more tourists nowadays. For the record this is my 3rd time going here and I could see development from the place since my last visit. My friend expected it was like open area, completely no businesses take advantage of place but that was the opposite when we visited the place. Different resorts have been growing more picnic hut or open cottages, houses to stay for the night and other facilities.
One more place to visit when you want to spend you day with nature and the beach. Take a dip in the cold and clear sea water. Not far away you can do snorkeling , witness the underwater ecosystem residing near the place. Now resorts are offering rent a boat to explore the sea and rocks surrounding the beach.
