Situated deep in the heart of Leyte’s verdant forest is Gunhuban Falls. The majestic two-tiered falls is located in the native town of Bato, and is quickly becoming a well-known summer destination in Eastern Visayas.

The beautiful, bluish-green waters of Gunhuban is surrounded by enormous trees and thick vegetation, providing shade to the locals and tourists lounging in the area. The cold, fresh water of Gunhuban Falls never fails to invite its visitors to take a dip in the pool. Aside from swimming, adrenaline seekers and adventure lovers can climb up to high ground and take a 30-feet plunge into the natural, green pool. On a moonlit night, Gunhuban Falls, located deep in the heart of Leyte’s forest, shimmers like a silver-encrusted emerald ring with lush, bright-green shrubbery and vines around it.

Easily accessible from the Sogod-Bato Road, the majestic two-tiered waterfalls in Barangay Buli nestles in this thriving coastal town facing Camotes Sea.

Gunhuban Falls is located in the native town in Bato, Leyte and is quickly becoming a summer destination in Eastern Visayas. The  Municipality of which the falls is nestled in is rapidly progressing  as a commercial hub in southwestern part of the province.  Upon reaching the main area of attraction, the loud gushing of water coming from the 30-feet tall peak of the waterfalls will surely get you excited!!!. The area is open  from 7 Am – 5 Pm  daily.
