It's More Fun in the Philippines, No.1 for Fun!

From Masbate Fish Port, ride a van going to Dimasalang and ask the driver to drop you off at the Pier going to Porta Vega. From the high way, just walk for around 500m and you will reach the Pier and find a boat that will bring you to Deagan and Porta Vega. For a group of less than 5 persons, you can fit in a small motorized boat and will reach Deagan in 15  minutes. From here, it will take you another 15 minutes or less to reach Porta Vega.

Deagan Island is just across the Pier. There is a little community in this island. Based on what I read on the net, this place was owned by the Marcos’. When I asked our boatman, he said that yes but only a part of it but not the whole island. Dip your sweating body and be refreshed. Afterward, we stopped by Deagan Island, which reportedly was owned by Ferdinand Marcos at one time. After he was ousted, the locals took his mansion back…piece by piece. Now there are just a few scattered remnants near the fishing village.
