Tuasan Falls is located 6 kilometers northeast of Catarman.
This natural attraction is still undeveloped and Kuya Criz mentioned that this particular waterfalls is more beautiful than Katibawasan, but it’s unknown to most tourists due to its inaccessibility, though when I was there, the roads were already being fixed. So was the access point going to the falls.
The water was cold and the rushing water in some areas was very strong, even deep so prepare to get wet even when you have no plans of swimming. The rocks were also slippery that twice, one of my flip-flops was swept away by the current.
By the way, I spoke with their guide and was told they were priests. Interesting.
I wanted to come close, but the falls’ impact was too strong I could feel splashes of water 5 meters from its drop. And boy, was it cold!
I must say that Tuasan Falls is a must-see when in Camiguin. Its rugged beauty is just amazing! Read More: https://thoughtstalesandwhatnot.com/2014/07/21/camiguin-tuasan-falls/
Chatting with Camiguin’s tourism officer, Tuasan Falls is one of the attractions in Camiguin I was told to check-out. This is my second visit in the island and I have to admit, I am not aware of this falls. Intrepid travelers have visited this once off-the-beaten path attraction in Camiguin. Talking to locals, they prefer Tuasan Falls over the other more known falls, Katibawasan Falls.
Staff from Camiguin’s tourism informed me that they have made Tuasan Falls more accessible and it sure is. Very convenient for our group of 6 that includes 2 oldies and 2 babies. Read More: http://www.valcaulin.com/article/tuasan-falls-in-camiguin/5010/
Tuasan Waterfalls is a lovely cascade tumbling down a natural rock formation into a deep but small pool at the bottom, it then flows into crystal clear pools down the valley and out to sea. You can walk into the pool around the edges but beware there is a steeop slope down to where the waters plunge down. It is situated inside the forest at the western side of Camiguin Island located in Mainit, Catarman.
Getting to Tuasan Falls is very easy there is now a road all the way to the viewing point so you can hire a bike, motorbike or organise a trip to the top where a short easy walk gets you to the falls. Read More: http://www.madbookings.com/tuasan-falls-camiguin.htm
