Crossing the dam made me feel better as I my nephew told me that the falls is barely 5 minutes which was true enough and my heart jumped with joy as I hear the cascading sound of the water falls.

It was feeling of relief and excitement as the clearing of trees slowly and dramatically showcased the stunning and marvelous sight of Tabokno Waterfalls. It was more than a prize of my 55-minute trek.

Tabokno Falls is an hour’s drive from the city center, Tabokno Falls is located in Barangay Caybago. Also, after an hour’s travel, another hour is needed to reach the falls from the village. Although not as majestic as the other falls in Calbayog, it’s still beautiful in its own right. Here, swimming and picnics are the main activities. Located in Barangay Caybago, Oquendo District, an hour drive from Calbayog City and 40-minute walk from the villages. A beautiful and scenic waterfall. This wonderful creation of nature is a favorite picnic site of local residents and their source of potable water.
