Looking at Pinipisakan Falls gave us a deep and powerful sense of awe. The absolutely pristine and untouched condition of the waterfalls gave us a meaningful glimpse into Mother Nature’s virgin beauty before or after the effects of humanity’s global influence. Our world has incredibly exquisite places like these, but humanity’s greed has reduced many of these places into former shadows of themselves.
As you can see, Pinipisakan Falls is multi-tiered. Those main curtains are two of the lower tiers. Excess water flows down to the sides, creating minor waterfalls.
Now, you have to understand that Pinipisakan Falls is very rarely visited even by locals due to its remoteness, inherent natural danger, the area’s security situation, and the superstition that surrounds it. Indeed, we were some of the handful of people who were able to set foot in this place. Read More: https://adrenalineromance.com/2017/09/28/pinipisakan-falls/
Otherwordly. Ethereal, Magical. Like a scene from a children’s fairy-tale storybook, the two tiers of the waterfall cascade like a white curtain into a basin of clear blue water. From where we stand, the massive boulder formations carpeted with moss, wild ferns and tiny purple flowers provide a postcard-perfect viewing deck.
Red dragonflies flit overhead while a layer of fog briefly covers the top of the mountains up above. Not visible from where I’m sitting, but just up ahead are two more layers of waterfalls and the gaping mouth of a cave. I’ve been to a lot of remote waterfalls in the Philippines but I have to say Pinipisakan Falls in San Jorge, Samar is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in my life.
Except for locals and a few international speleologists who have gone on caving expeditions here, only a few tourists have been seen this remote paradise deep in the jungles of Samar. Even locals rarely visit it because of the perilous route. If it were more accessible, I’m sure more people would have been enticed to visit just based on seeing the photos alone. I know I was when I first saw photos of the waterfall 3 years ago during my first visit to Samar. As beautiful as the waterfall is, it’s very challenging to get to. Pinipisakan Falls, at this time of my adventures, you are the most beautiful of all waterfalls I have ever seen. The waterfalls I chased before, were all spectacular but this one is on the top of my list as to beauty and magnificence.
As I went nearer and nearer the falls to have a good view of it, I was stunned. Pinipisakan Falls was such a beauty. I just couldn’t believe that I was in front of it looking at an almost perfect creation. God is truly an amazing, brilliant artist, He created this wonder, the splendid Pinipisakan Falls.
