Mount Apo, active volcano, south central Mindanao, 20 miles (32 km) west of Davao City; is the highest point in the Philippines, rising to 9,692 feet (2,954 metres). Part of the Cordillera Central, it is covered by a forest of tall, tropical hardwoods; two subsidiary peaks nearly match its height.  Mount Apo National Park, established in 1936, has an area of 199,819 acres (80,864 hectares); it is the home of the rare Philippine eagle and features numerous peaks and valleys, as well as Malasita Falls, Sibulao Lake, and the Kisinte Hot Springs.  Read More:  https://sites.google.com/site/babtouristcompany/7-tourist

Mt. Puting Bato is the highest point in the Island Garden City of Samal Island. Being easily reached, it has become one of the favorite climbing expeditions of many adventure seekers in Davao Region and because of such, Mt. Puting Bato becomes one of the Island’s popular destination. Like those ultimate getaways in Cancun Holidays, this spot in Samal is a must visit.

Mt. Putting Bato is located in Sitio Tayapoc, Brgy. Guilon, Samal District, it stands a towering height of about 1,345 feet (410m) above sea level. For a fun filled dayhike, Mt. Putting Bato is the right destination to be. Easily reached, Mount Puting Bato is a perfect destination for a great day hike. Its peak can be reached following two different trails. One is the Guilon Trail and the other one is Tayapoc Trail. The Guilon Trail entails approximately 2 hours hike from the jump off point passing through narrow trails and bushy woods. Museo Dabawenyo

The Museo Dabawenyo building is formerly the Court of First Instance. It was restored and rehabilitated to house and showcase the rich history and diverse cultural heritage of the people of Davao. It was established by the City Government of Davao, through the initiative of the 14th City Council under City Ordinance No. 0266-06, Series of 2006 signed into law by Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte on November 15, 2006. It was funded under the Special Education Fund of the Local School Board.
