The Garden of Eden Restored or Tamayong Prayer Mountain is the stronghold of Executive Pastor of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name, Apollo Quiboloy.

The garden is religiously significant but since its completion in 1999, it has also become a tourist attraction.

What brings people to the garden is the serenity that one gets when you enter its gates. Flowers from all over the world have been planted in the garden and its manicured lawns.  To ensure that the flowers are in bloom the whole year through, they change the flowers every two cycles. They also have their own nursery.  Read More:  http://www.choosephilippines.com/stay/relaxation-and-wellness/3826/garden-eden-davao

Tribu Kamindanawan

Adjacent to the Davao Crocodile Park is the Tribu K’Mindanawan – Cultural Village. It is a place devoted to showcasing the culture and the arts not only of the Davao Region but the whole of Mindanao as well.

Pictures showing different ethnic costumes of Mindanaoans are displayed right before the entrance. A shop is also available for visitors to buy mementos and souvenirs. Scenes from daily life, including their local customs and traditions are provided throughout the area. Informative facts that are readily made available will guide visitors throughout the entire visit.

Every Fridays to Sundays, just before dusk has fully given way to the darkness of the night, one would not miss hearing the beat of the drums gamely played at the entrance. The cultural presentation follows at the stage auspiciously located beneath bamboo trees, which further adds that distinct edifying touch to the area. Just be sure to go there early so as to ensure that you will have the best seats. The published time for the start of the cultural presentation is 5:45PM.  Read More:  http://thegoldenson.blogspot.com/2011/02/southern-jaunt-tribu-k-mindanawan.html
