Lusuac Spring is a well-landscaped resort, it is a good place to hold picnics and bonding with family and friends. It is open to the public with 50 pesos per head for adults and 20 pesos for children’s entrance fee. There are also cottages in the area available for rent, prices ranges to 150 to 350 pesos, with a slide on the edge of the pool for kids and kids at heart. They also have a place for you to change your clothes and a comfort room.
Abra has its fair share of hidden gems, their famous Lusuac Spring in Barangay Poblacion Lagayan, Abra, a refreshing spring a waiting for us to swim. Lusuac Spring’s former name was bubuan, which means lubluban (wallow in) in Ilocano. Seeing as a good place for tourism and not just a lubluban for carabaos, a former congresswoman developed the spring into a pool and a picnic resort and then named it for what it is now.
I’m glad that it was summer when we first got there since the water is so freaking cold. Compare to falls that has downtime, the spring doesn’t lose water all year round. It’s amazing that the water virtually came from nothing and overflows down the plains.
The pool there has shallow and deep parts so it can be enjoyed by all ages. There is also a slide for added enjoyment.
