The INILUSAN is to Mambusao as Halaran is to Roxas City. The Mambusao cultural religious festivity was first introduced last 1975 as the year’s festival theme. The term INILUSAN means the mutual and reciprocal giving and sharing of food in generous measure and in the spirit of fraternal goodwill that permeates the daily life of Mambusaonons.
The Inilusan is a colorful pageant celebrated by way of recollecting the stories of Mambusao and depicting the historical and cultural growth of the town during the celebration of the town fiesta on November 25 in honor of Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Inilusan Festival of Mambusao, Capiz is a combination of cultural and religious celebration. Activities include novenas and masses as a spiritual preparation for the annual feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria.
