Pulacan Falls has its own brand of beauty – simple yet scenic, ordinary but unique. Going to the actual location of the waterfall, from the national highway, you’ll be passing in a walkway surrounded by tall trees. It’s not too high, around 30-35 feet, but its picturesque beauty is totally amazing and enough reason to captivate visitors. An easy trek, fresh air and tall tress, the refreshing sound of cascades, and the scenic white water spreading to its beautiful rocks – what a wonderful memory of our short stopover in Labangan! Zamboanga del Sur is one province in the Philippines where one can still see truly majestic natural attractions, and Pulacan Falls in particular in the town of Labangan displays this fact really well.  Its weathered rocks and white cascading water is indeed a sight to behold.

Pulacan Falls is 400 square meters high is a fascinating work of nature.  From its peak, several streams diverge, going in different directions and cascading into different pools. Though it may not give the impression of power like other waterfalls, Pulacan Falls instead displays a different character through artistry, with water flowing down through different terraces and pools.  Surrounded by lush vegetation and unique rock formations, it is truly a scene showing the beauty of nature. The area has been a designated site for camps and jamborees because of the serene environment it has to offer.

Besides providing an attraction for the region, the falls also provides water for the Labangan Irrigation System and is used to nourish vast tracts of farmland in the region.   Read More: https://www.vigattintourism.com/tourism/articles/Pulacan-Falls

A more or less 30-minute ride from the capital city, Pagadian, will lead you to a must visit or a should say a “worthy stopover spot”, just along the National Highway covered by Barangay Upper Pulacan in the municipality of Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. Yep, I’m talking about the simply majestic Pulacan Falls!

The waterfall is one of the interesting spots in Zamboanga del Sur I’ve been longing to explore since I was assigned in Northern Mindanao and in Zamboanga Peninsula. I’ve been tempted so many times to drop in the area to have its closer look, but (oftentimes) my schedule doesn’t permit. Yep, at last, after almost 2 years, I had the chance to witness and took photographs of this simply majestic waterfall.  Read More:  https://www.blogarama.com/destinations-blogs/232058-traveling-morion-lets-explore-7107-islands-blog/739059-zamboanga-del-sur-simply-majestic-pulacan-falls-labangan
