MAMON ISLAND

As of 2019, there are no standard tours offered to Mam-On Island compared to the regular, daily trips to other islands nearby to Siargao. However, many of the tour operators use Mam-On as an alternative to the other, busier islands. The best way to get out to Mam-On and La Januza would be to chat with the tour operator and convince them to switch up the itinerary to include Mam-On and La Januza instead of Daku and Guyam. For less than $25 USD, you can book your island hopping tour. It is possible to book a private boat tour but this will be much more expensive. There are no public transportation options. Mam-on and La Januza are the farthest ones and our first stop will be Mam-on. Very few visitors get to set foot on it because it is very far from the main island of Siargao. But it is very pristine and beautiful with azure waters, very gentle waves, and fine white sands with a very slight tinge of tan and pink. For those who want a bit of relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist spots, Mamon Island would be your dream getaway. This destination is filled with amazing coral formations you can explore while snorkeling in clear, blue waters, and is so secluded that it is not lined with stores of any kind – whether commercial or otherwise – so you really get that peace and quiet with mother nature. On the other side of the island, you can go surfing as well if you’re still looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience. Bring your own meals and water so you can enjoy a serene picnic by the beach!   Read More:  https://trip101.com/article/best-things-to-do-siargao-island-philippines
