Surigao del Sur is a province in the Philippines located in the Caraga region in Mindanao. It is situated at the eastern coast of Mindanao and faces the Philippine Sea to the east.

How to get there

Through air, Cebu Pacific serves a 45-minute flight from Cebu (Mactan Int’l. Airport) to Tanday City with 3 flights a week via Cebgo Flight 6951 (CEB-TGD), 11:10am → 12:20pm MWF. That is the only commercial flight available as of this writing.

Through land, there are different van & transportation services (tour packages) that depart from its neighbouring city, Butuan, as well as from major hubs in Mindanao area like Surigao City, Davao City, Iligan City and more.

PS: If you depart from Manila, might as well take a flight heading to Butuan City, Davao City or Surigao City and proceed with the land trip.
