The Tartanilla Festival hels every 12th of June is Cebu City’s way of preserving the tartanilla (horse-drawn carriage) heritage by reviving the oldest mode of transportation to ply some of the city’s streets. Camotes Cassava Festival

The sweet potato, known in the Filipino vernacular as camote, is the focus of a Cebu festival known as the Camotes Cassava festival. The town of Tudela celebrates the sweet potato and cassava, a product derived from this delightful root crop, during this Cebu fiesta, holding cooking competitions, exhibits even a beauty pageant. A yearly celebration of a bountiful harvest. A time where farmers display various cassava-based products, share their varied technical experiences in producing and processing cassava products. Bonga Festival

The term ‘bonga’ is a transliteration of the English word for fruit, or ‘harvest’ for a wider meaning. This harvest festival is annually celebrated on October 12.

Bonga Festival is a lively thanksgiving celebration for the abundance of the town’s natural and food resources.  This festival coincides with the celebration in honor of the town’s patron saints – St. Felomena and Our Lady of Pilar.  Dressed and adorned with colorful and various costumes, the street dancers and performers gladly promote the town’s produce and native products.
