Mambukal Mountain Resort

Mambukal is a natural forested area in Brgy. Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental. It is actually located at the foot of Mt. Kanlaon—the only active volcano in the province. It is blessed with so many indigenous species of flora and fauna as well as rivers and waterfalls collectively known as the legendary Mambukal Seven Falls.
The resort, with its buildings and attractions, was constructed according to the natural terrain and formations of the place. While it is just very near Bacolod City, it is elevated at 1,200 feet and surrounded by perennial trees, which makes the place cool, even during the summer.
We also spent some time at hot sulphuric dipping pool. It is believed that the sulfur and trace mineral content of the water is therapeutic. The sulfuric dipping pool at Mambukal Mountain Resort is quite hot, so don’t jump right in. Let your body gradually acclimatize by dipping your feet first. The waters here are therapeutic but can cause shock to the body. Read More: https://www.lovinglymama.com/mambukal-resort-overnight-stay-family/

Campuestohan Highland Resort – If you got children or want to feel like one, this would be the perfect place for you to spend part of an afternoon. The property was bought by an aging couple who were planning their retirement, but when they finally came to see the property they had purchased, their plans changed once they saw the majestic, natural view before them.
Only about 30 minutes drive from Bacolod, the 5 hectare property overlooks Mount Makawili and now is home to a robust theme and water park. With its high position near the mountain, you can get a broad view of about half the island’s region of Negros Occidental (northwest half of the island) and some of Panay island, where Iloilo is located.
They have a special party for children, but once that is over, no worries regarding other things to do, such as the many swimming pools, King Kong, Children’s Playground, Ice Cream Parlor, Hanging, Heroes’ Hall, grand carousel, mini train, wave pool, several animal sculptures and much more. Canlaon Volcano

The majestic Mount Kanlaon rises on the border of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental. This is the highest mountain of the Negros as well as of the entire Visayas. It is the largest active Philippine volcano, and its activity is monitored often.
It is 2,465 m high at its peak, although some sources mention the height to be 2,435 m. Its base measures 30 km in diameter and extinct volcanic craters and pyroclastic cones dot its north-northwest region. The Lugud crater, which is active, is just north of and below the summit. There is a small caldera, known as the Margaja Valley, to the north of Lugud. In some seasons, such as the monsoon, it becomes a crater lake.
