Laguerta Home of the Vintage Glasses Museum is a humble museum in Bacolod City owned by Tomas Claridad Casiano, a former florist based in Beverly Hills, California. He came back home to Bacolod City for good and built his own museum called “Laguerta.” The museum houses displays of decorative glasses, from plates and bowls to drinking glasses and mugs. It is filled with different pieces of glass art of different sizes, shapes, and colors which is very pleasing to the eye. It is recommended to check with the museum first or make a reservation before going. Read More: https://yoorekka.com/magazine/2018/05/07/top-museums-in-bacolod-city/

Going South of Bacolod City? The Vintage Glass Museum is another cool Museum that you should check out. It’s a small museum that has a large front garden filled with interesting sculptures. There’s also a waterfall running from the top to the bottom floor.

The Museum is quite amazing! All the glasses are beautifully organized by color and the effect is very striking.

There’s so much to see and look at inside Laguerta: Home of the Vintage glasses. It’s strictly reservation only so please call ahead. Here are the contact details:

Brgy. Sum-ag is home to the museum of vintage depression glasses. They are clear or translucent glasswares that come in different colors. Common colors are pink, pale blue, green, and amber. Less common colors are canary, ultramarine, jadeite, delphite, cobalt blue, red, black, amethyst, monax, and white. Collected over the years by Tomas Casiano, the museum has elevated Brgy. Sum-ag into a tourist destination in Bacolod City. Inaugurated in December 12, 2012, it had since then attracted a lot of visitors around the world.

To visit the museum, one has to make an appointment at 0917-3098895 Read More: https://www.facebook.com/pg/dongtheexplorer/photos/?tab=album&album_id=885709448141848
