Like most of the town’s itinerant denizens, I spent the brownout hours swimming with parrotfish and picnicking on a flash of white sand. Each spot had a name ripped from paradise mythology, like Hidden Beach and Secret Lagoon. Angler target these species in a variety of ways which include trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, popping and even bait fishing. The fish in the picture below is a nice GT caught by Biboy in Palawan while Popping.
The larger GT are quite powerful and can quite easily destroy fishing gear that is not up for the challenge. For anglers targeting this species be sure you are using the right gear for the job. Read More: https://fishingthephilippines.com/category/trevally-talakitok/
Kayaking

“Palawan is one of the most pristine and remote corners of the Philippines, and the country’s largest province by territory. Three of us are on a week-long kayaking tour, slowly winding our way through the karst islets and immaculate beaches surrounding Busuanga Island, in the northernmost part of the province.
Every paddle stroke brings into view another coral reef and another school of colourful fish flashing through the water beneath our hulls. The sky stretches achingly clear and blue overhead.” Read more: http://www.scmp.com/magazines/post-magazine/article/1788138/sea-kayaking-pristine-palawan-philippines
Dolphin-Watching

Cruise through the beautiful turquoise waters of Puerto Princesa in search of dolphins. Puerto Princesa is good locations for observing dolphins in the wild. Being at sea will allow you the closest encounter with these fascinating creatures. Dolphins are acrobatic and social mammals frequently bow riding and jumping out of the water. As they are wild animal’s sightings cannot be guaranteed, but you will have more chances if you travel between April and October. If you are lucky you might even get to see whale sharks! The Puerto Princesa Underground River is not the only cave you should go into when you go to Sabang Port. I also highly recommend that you try going inside Ugong Rock and break a little sweat as you push yourself upward to a cave.
I personally experienced this when we first visited the Underground River last October of 2010 via a daytour package. Read more: http://www.lakas.com.ph/2012/03/ugong-rock-caving-and-zipline-in-tagabenit-puerto-princesa-palawan/
Motorcycling

Rent a motorcycle or scooter on the island of Palawan. Roads to the two main site of the island – El Nido and Sabang (Underground river) has already been done. The trip can be done on a motorcycle and an automatic scooter. Along the way there are gas stations, tire service, roadside cafe. But, if you plan to travel long distances as Port Barton and El Nido better rent a motorbike with thick off-road tires, since 60% of our clients who rents scooters automatic pierce wheel 1 or 2 times on the way. If you plan to visit more wild places such as Quezon (Tabon Cave) or the surroundings of El Nido, better to rent a motorcycle with off road tire. Biking

I’m looking for a little more adventure than simply relaxing on the beaches. I’m imagining this pleasant little island road, perhaps with a few potholes, etc., winding along the coast past picturesque beaches and tiny little villages, the perfect opportunity to take it slow, hike it or bike it, have the chance to jump in the ocean regularly, then stop somewhere in the evening and crash for the night then keep moseying along the next day. Ziplining

The 750 meter ride from Las Cabañas Beach to Depeldet Island is one of the best ways to see El Nido from a bird’s eye-view. Going here, you’ll need to hike for about ten minutes, but it’s perfect to prepare yourself for the adrenaline rush. You can either do the one-way or two-way ride. Be prepared to cross the sandbar going back to Las Cabañas Beach if you want to hop off at Depeldet Island. Read More: http://windowseat.ph/scenic-zip-lines-ph/
