WHITE (A.K.A. MANADI) ISLAND
NOTE: There is a White Island in Camiguin Province, which is not the same as the White Island in Occidental Mindoro.

White Island is one of the tourist spots in Occidental Mindoro. It is also called by the locals as Manadi Island which means “Sudden Appearance” for it is said to have suddenly appeared decades ago. It is a small island and an ideal destination for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving and fishing. Some part of the shore are breeding grounds for turtles where they bury their eggs. One can walk around the island in just few minutes. Again, there are no store or electricity in the island so you have to bring your own food.
White Island is located in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Read More: https://touristspotsfinder.com/occidental-mindoro-tourist-spots/

The other name for ‘White Island’ is ‘Manadi Island’ – Manadi is apparently a local word meaning ‘Sudden Appearance’ as it is said to have suddenly appeared many decades ago. General publicity indicates that it is an ideal place for swimming, scuba diving, and fishing – but I did not test this. Turtle eggs are occasionally found buried in the sand.
There appears to be a coral reef at the other side of the island to which we landed.
There is no store or electricity supply available on the Island so all necessary food and drinking supplies must be taken with you.
It seems that there is a caretaker living on the Island, and the landing fee is P30. Bamboo hut rental, if available, is PhP150.00.
After looking at the island, and what is available at the present time, my personal preference would be to go well prepared for a day’s snorkeling or fishing. Read More: https://www.delahyde.com/lubang/pagesl/White_Island.html
White Island Beach is also a white sand beach that can be found in San Jose and can be reached by a 15-minute pump boat ride from the Caminawit Port. The whole island is wrapped in serenity and it is the perfect place for anyone who longs for a real get-away. One can also do scuba diving and fishing. But one must be careful while walking along the beach line because there are delicate turtle eggs buried in the sand.
