The owner inherited it from his Father Abelardo Bantug Jr. In 2009, the siblings, Michael and Reeda Bantug made the luxuriant orchard poultry and sugarcane field into a lake-ranch. While the family is selling farm lots, Michael decided to dig a lake. The lake is made of fresh water from a running creek that’s generating the water back to the creek. Animal-lover Michael decided to purchase prizewinning breeds and other animals. Some animals are from the benevolent benefactors that also love animals. Many people would come here especially during the weekends because it is a quick respite from city life. Bantug Lake Ranch is a vibrant organic destination farm resort located in Brgy. Alangilan, 13 kilometers east of Bacolod City, in the province of Negros Occidental, southern Philippines. They are part of the province’s effort to successfully become the organic food bowl of Asia.

The seven-hectare verdant property had long been a ranch and fruit orchard owned by the Bantug family. Eventually, they opened the place as a daytime destination resort, complete with exciting activities for the entire family or a group of friends.
