The Mainit Hot Springs is a popular tourist attraction in Caibiran in Biliran Province. Biliran Island is like one large volcano with many peaks and valleys full of waterfalls and hot springs that make it a magical place to visit. The water at the springs is very hot, so you will find you can only keep your hand in the water for a few seconds.  As the water mixes with the fresh clean water from the river it cools down to a more comfortable temperature.

The Mainit Hot Springs is in Villa Vicenta Baranagy, part of Caibiran Municipality, Biliran Island. The Hot Springs can be found along the road from the small village of Mainit, which you will find on the Biliran Circumferential Road, just outside Caibiran.   Read more: http://biliran.ph/thread/71/mainit-hot-spring#ixzz4b8w8nkzk

The Mainit Hot Spring is located in Brgy. Villavicenta, about 25 mins from Caibiran town and 1 hr from Naval. A portion of the river is warmed by pockets of bubbling hot springs. Prior to a large flood, there were two small pools and a cement structure where people may sit while warm water massages their back.  Read More:  http://biliran.gov.ph/mainit-hot-spring/

From Agta Beach, we drove to Caibiran Biliran to find this Mainit Hot Spring located in Caibiran. We actually don’t know the place and just rely through waze. As a matter of fact, we really don’t have an idea what this natural hot spring look like.

Based on some research that I found, soaking in a hot spring has tons of benefits to your body. It can boost blood circulation, reduces stress, relieve pain naturally and can cure some skin problems. For that reason, I got so excited because this will be my first time to visit the place and experience to soak on the Mainit Hot Spring. At first, I thought this place will be like hot spring resorts I know somewhere in Laguna. In which guests can rest well and order some foods while relaxing. But to our surprise, this little paradise on a remote area is totally different.  Read More:  https://www.theclassywandress.com/mainit-hot-spring-biliran-island/
