TOURIST SPOTS IN
SURIGAO DEL NORTE
SIARGAO is just a part of Surigao del Norte.
However, it often overshadows Surigao del Norte because of its popularity.
The province of Surigao Del Norte is not just a nondescript “Gateway to Mindanao” and even beyond the surf haven, Siargao. This group of islands boasts of large mineral deposits, long stretch of beaches, mystic caves, verdant greens, and abundant marine life. Popular tourist attractions here include Bucas Grande, Mabua Pebble Beach, and Lake Mainit. Read More: https://www.traveloka.com/en-ph/packages/philippines/region/surigao-del-norte-10009320

“The main entrance and exit is only accessible during low tide” said our guide as our pump boat glided through the water in the dark cave half-submerged in water. The hard hats we had been issued shielded us from the stalactites that hung precariously above our heads. The boatmen expertly maneuvered through the cave entrance towards a pinprick of light that slowly opened up into a vast lagoon. I stared in awe at the stunning landscape I saw before me.
We had just entered Sohoton Cove, a natural haven that is the pride of Bucas Grande Island in Surigao del Norte. Read More: https://www.traveling-up.com/tag/sohoton-cove-national-park/

Songkoy Cold Spring – the place is just so enchanting. It’s best if it happens when you visit the place it would be only all to yourselves. It will surely be as magical as living in fairy tale world. Listening while the birds chirp, the trees swing and feeling the cold breeze that the spring gives in is something that truly gives you a sense of satisfaction. I wasn’t able to take a lot of photos for I enjoyed it a lot for me to forget to do the job but hopefully I have brought you to one wonderful experience and made this more informative. If you’re looking for some adventure and stress free place spend some time to an isolated spot away from the noisy city, I suggest route to one of the most visited scenic view of Sugba Lagoon at Del Carmen, Siargao Islands, Surigao del Norte. Amaze to its green coated water reflected from nature of virgin forest and mountains.
Bring your family and friends for an exciting race of paddle boards or you may rent one kayak for yourself, a great moment to spend time for your loved ones. And taste native and exotic foods from their best cook in the Island. Definitely worth the time and effort. Read More: https://www.visitdelcarmen.com/sugba-lagoon/
