Bato Cueva (Rock Cave) is located in La Union, San Remigio in the Province of Antique.

Bato Cueva sits on the hilltop where a nearby forest nursery is located. Municipalities of San Jose and Sibalom are visible while atop the hill. On a good weather, the Madia-as mountain of Culasi is a majestic view.

San Remigio has many tourist sites beside the ones mentioned. In Barangay La Union, a windy stairway was created and was patterned to the shape of the mountains, which is surprisingly, made of corrals.

Once one gets to the top, one has the mountains all to himself. From there he can see a grand view of the whole town, a portion of Sibalom, Patnongon and farther still, the town of San Jose de Buenavista. It is also very cold up there. And yet down below, there is a cave called Bato Cueva where the entrance is so small one has to squeeze his body to get inside. But once you are inside the cave, although it is slippery there and a lot of moss has grown, one can feel the enigmatic aura of the place. It is of common knowledge that the cave used to be a burial ground during the Japanese invasion. Old folks would tell stories that there were lots of golden statues left there by the Japanese armies.  Read More:  http://www.cebu-philippines.net/san-remigio-antique-province.html

Near the Sibalom town where the natural park can be found, is the town of San Remegio, a town that is unexplored. The town has so many places potential for tourist spots. One of these is the Bato Cueva Cave. But there is a little problem in entering this cave because you have to crawl due to its small opening. The residents said the there is a mystery to this cave.
