Kaliugyon Festival

Held every December 28- January 1 in Libacao, Aklan, Kaliugyon means, kali for kalye or streets and ugyon for unity or union in the streets. Libacaonons go out for a wild revelry of merrymaking to celebrate the coming of the New Year.Read More: http://philtravelphotos.com/decfestivals.html
Tinuom Festival

Tinu-om Festival is held every 1st week of September located in Cabatuan, Iloilo. It is a celebration of the town’s history and its popularly craved delicacy, tinuom made of native chicken souped with spices – tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and lemon grass and wrapped in banana leaves. This festival is one of the highlights of the 10-day fiesta celebration of the municipality and is a colorful explosion of music and dances. Baesa Parada

The Baesa Parada Festival is a religious fiesta every November 23-24 held in Laibacao, Aklan. The highlight is a boat decoration contest. The boats are paraded in the river and winners are proclaimed.
