APATOT BEACH
Photo from: byaheroph.blogspot.com
This cove is located in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur. It is more of a picnic place than a swimming area. This area was used towards the end of Word War II to unload arms using submarines and supplied them to the USAFIP, NL.
It is a lovely place, no doubt, but the beach is not covered by sand; rather it is covered with stones, rocks and pebbles, making it a little comfortable for swimmers or the tourists themselves. It us currently being used as a docking place for fishermen for their fishing boats.
