CORREGIDOR ISLAND /
CASOLIAN ISLAND
NOTE 1: This Corregidor Island is not the same as the Corregidor Island
in Bataan Province.
NOTE 2: Google Maps call it Casolian Island, but locals refer to it as
Corregidor Island.

If you thought you’d done everything in Siargao, then you’re in for another pleasant surprise. Siargao also has excellent hiking spots to offer. If you’re a hiking enthusiast, you might want to check out Corregidor Island, also known as Casolian Island. Corregidor Island is right next to Siargao Island- a 45-minute boat ride from General Luna. It’s a great detour if you’re up for a leisurely hike through grassy trails, rolling hills, and lush coconut groves to the white sand beaches and pebble beaches of Corregidor. You can also hike to the top of Corregidor Island to marvel at the panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and nearby islands. Corregidor Island’s seascape is just as picturesque as its landscape. The island is surrounded by glistening blue waters and colorful coral reefs, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. You can go on a day trip with friends to Corregidor and bond over activities such as picnic by the beach, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. I’ve been to Corregidor Island twice now and both times were a fantastic experience. However, they were on different island-hopping itineraries. On the first occasion, I did the Four Island Tour (Corregidor, Naked, Daku, Guyam) and on the second occasion, two years later, I visited Mamon Island and then Corregidor. There are many ways to include Corregidor Island in your itinerary. Therefore, in this blog post, I will just share my experience mostly about Corregidor Island not all of the islands included in the itinerary as it can vary.
Corregidor Island is one of my favorite islands to visit near Siargao because it has a small element of adventure rather than just the regular beach hangouts you find at the other islands like Guyam and Naked. Before our boat docked, I sent the drone up so I could show you guys an aerial of just how pristine the waters are around the island! Read More: https://www.journeyera.com/corregidor-island-siargao/

After a mere one (1) hour of boat travel, we arrived at Corregidor Island at SEArenity Shore Beach Resort. We occupied a cottage, which is also a part of what we paid for and will be there up until noontime for lunch.
We took our time to quite enjoy the beach, the fine white sand we are in, and the turquoise blue waters in front of us. Islands in this part of the Philippines truly are a piece of gem, and the Philippines is the biggest gem in itself. We took our time to take photos, of us, and our friends. After a short while, Karl told us if we would want to go hike, just let him know.
According to Mark, the Corregidor Island tour is open to joiners on a Saturday schedule only and private tours (any day) will be priced depending on how many pax there will be in the group.
