At an elevation of about 60 feet, exploring Nacali falls is definitely exciting because of the scenic view of the area while being surrounded by unique flora and fauna. The tourists, both local and foreign, are always eager to take a dip in the cool, clear spring water from Nacali falls and feel its invigorating effects. After sightseeing, it is possible to take a rest under the many large trees in the vicinity, or engage in activities like swimming, fishing, hiking, camping or having picnics with families and friends. Nacali Falls is one of the many falls in the Province of Camarines Norte. It is located at San Lorenzo Ruiz. It takes 30-45 minutes from Daet to Brgy. Matacong, San Lorenzo Ruiz. The falls can be reached by hiking approximately 5-7 kilometers, passing through Matacong hanging bridge in San Lorenzo Ruiz. The water in the falls is cold and relaxing. It is approximately 60 feet high. When we reached the falls I felt so happy. It was so beautiful and almost untouched. I didn’t get a chance to swim but just staring at it and taking photos was enough to amaze me. The water was very clear that you can literally drink from it, which I did by the way. It tasted so fresh and immediately quenched my thirst. I took a video of it and it was breathtaking. It was like I’m inside a big green cave of canopy composed of giant ferns and thick vegetation. The falls was like this giant white curtain hanging from its wall. I can’t help but to imagine that there were even some water fairies and elves in the background.
