Looking for a white beach getaway with friends, family, and love one? Don’t miss out this one of the best known white beach island in Philippines, Camiguin. It’s white crystal clear water surrounding the island is irresistible to plunge into. The island-province of Camiguin is a pear-shaped volcanic island in the northern tip of Mindanao. It is approximately 90 kilometers north of the City of Cagayan de Oro. It is bounded to the north by Bohol Sea, to the west by Macajalar Bay, to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay.

White Island is an uninhabited white sandbar located off shore in the volcanic island of Camiguin in the Philippines. It is generally horseshoe shaped, although the tides constantly reshape its exact form. There are no trees or shelter of any kind and it is composed solely of white sands.

White Island attracts thousands of tourists every year. It can be accessed by riding a small boat from any of the beach front resorts that face the island. Read More: https://seriousboy21.wordpress.com/tag/camiguin-white-beach/

White Island (locally known as Medano Islet or Medan Island) lies just 1.4 km, about 10 minutes, off the coast of Mambajao, the capital and the largest municipality of Camiguin. It is the province’s most popular tourist attraction. Powdery white sand make up this glittery bend, surrounded by sea grass. Although it usually resembles a boomerang, it changes shape according to the tides. A naked island, it is uninhabited — no houses, no huts, no trees — but umbrellas are available for rent.   Read More: https://www.philippinebeaches.org/white-island-medano-islet-camiguin/

It was a constant invitation. The stunning White Island was within view from Paras Beach Resort, where I stayed. Even during lunch, I couldn’t help but be hypnotized by this inviting stretch of white sand not very far from the resort’s beachfront. It wasn’t long until we finally gave in and allowed ourselves to be drawn to this naked, sparkling sand bar.

More commonly known as White Island, Medan Island (or Medano Islet) is 10 minutes away from the northern coast of Camiguin. In Barangay Yumbing, boat rentals are available for P480. Resorts also offer their own day tours to this pristine, powdery paradise.   Read more:  https://www.thepoortraveler.net/2012/04/white-island-camiguin/
