AMAZING BEACHES & RESORTS
Davao del Norte is one of the most progressive provinces in Region XI. It has seven municipalities, namely, Asuncion, Braulio E. Dujali, Carmen, Kapalong, New Corella, Sto. Tomas, and Talaingod, and three cities of Tagum, which is the capital as well as center of commerce and governance, Panabo, and the Island Garden City of Samal, known for its white pristine beaches, great diving sites, and well preserved flora and fauna. This is where the world-renowned Pearl Farm Beach Resort is located along with other tourist destinations dotting this island of adventure. Blue Waters Beach Resort
Photo from: https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotos-g3224398-Samal_Bataan_Province_Central_Luzon_Region_Luzon.html
Blue Waters Resort is an upscale white beach resort (for me) located in Samal Island. It is conveniently located in the coast side of Samal, 20 minutes away from Davao City. Blue Waters Resort is a Semi Private Resort that is open for beach goers who wants to experience exclusivity and tranquility. You have to make reservations first if you want to go to this resort. No Booking, No Entry. Although this beach has strict rules, their staffs are the friendliest and the most accommodating. As our boat docked at their breakwaters, the staff greeted us a warm welcome.
Aside from their white sand beach and turquoise water, they also have swimming pools both for children and adults. Accommodations will be not a problem since they have a variety of rooms to choose from at a very affordable price. They also have picnic tables, huts and kiosk conveniently located at the beach side for day tour guests.
Blue Waters resort is fascinatingly beautiful. It has a warm and homey atmosphere everyone would surely love. Plus, the staffs are very accommodating and the shoreline was well maintained. It was an excellent way to end our summer right. Overall a most recommended place to have fun and bond with your family and friends. Buenavista Island Resort

Island Buenavista is a privately owned island resort located off the east coast of Davao City, and north of the Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS). This luxury island resort is a four-hectare exclusive paradise of lush tropical greenery and tall palm trees surrounded by white powdery sandy beach in the midst of the crystal clear waters of Davao Gulf. The Island is widely known for its rich formation of coral reefs and abundant marine life, and is considered as one of the top snorkeling and diving destinations in Davao.
Island Buenavista is an eco-friendly island, and is home to the Hawks Bill Turtle Sanctuary. The area around the island is declared a marine protected area by the city government of Samal, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to help maintain its pristine state, and ensure the preservation of the habitat of several marine species endemic in the surrounding area. Use of any form of watercraft is strictly prohibited.
The Island Buenavista enjoys a mild, pleasant tropical climate all year round, with no pronounced wet or dry season. The coolest months are from November to February with an average temperature of 25°C (77°F). During the peak summer months, from March to May, temperatures average 28°C (82.4°F) but may occasionally rise as high as 32°C (89.6°F).
What is so awesomely unique about this island getaway is that the whole Island Buenavista is ONLY AVAILABLE FOR EXCLUSIVE USE AND RENTAL for groups and families. Booking arrangements are usually made seven days before the intended stay at the Island. Read More: http://davaocitybybattad.blogspot.com/2011/07/buenavista-island-resort.html
Canibad Beach

Canibad Beach Resort in Barangay Aundanao Samal Island is a great place to go if you want to get away from the noise of honking vehicle and stressful life in the city. It is just a few minutes ride from Davao City plus a 10 minute walk downhill before you reach the Canibad Cove with white sand and irresistible cool splashing water.
It is one of the beach resorts which is less developed, guests should not expect to perceive classy restaurants and air-conditioned rooms. For those who want to stay overnight at the beach, it is advisable to bring a tent with you, cottages are also available for around P200 pesos per night. Since there are no restaurants in the resort, cooking your own food in designated areas is a good idea.
Despite the simplicity of the place, guests who love to take pictures will not be disappointed. Canibad Beach Resort still has a lot of beautiful subjects to offer – the nature itself will welcome you. Read More: https://fepa11.wordpress.com/2013/01/25/canibad/
