Maribina Falls is situated in the town of Bato, it is one of the most famous and most available waterfalls in the island. The falls is about 5-6 meters high with radiant spouting rapids of perfectly clear waters.

It is named after the villages of Marinawa (MARI) and Binanwahan (BINA). A perfect spot for picnickers and weekenders.

There are only few cottages on the area, most of the picnickers just find spot near the waterfall where they can sit and lay down.

Bring inflatable lifesaver so you can lay down on it while on the water looking at the trees and the sky.  Read More:  http://gocatanduanes.com/happyplaces/maribina-falls/#.XXzlw2Z7laQ

Named after Barangays Marinawa and Binanwahan in the municipality of Bato, Maribina Falls is the most popular and widely publicized among the numerous waterfalls in Catanduanes. There are ideal picnickers who would want to stay overnight. Gushing with breath-taking rapids of crystal-clear waters, the cascading falls are located amid rustic surroundings and lush-green vegetation. Maribina Falls is located in a town called Bato; a 5th class municipality that hosts 21,279 people. The falls are actually named after the nearby villages Marinawa and Binanwahan. The Maribina Falls are not some hidden waterfall far back inlands like the Hicming Falls near Virac. In fact, the Maribina Falls are popular with the locals (lots of local youth) as well as Catanduanes’ tourists. On one of those typical hot days in the Philippines, you’ll likely find a couple of handfuls local Filipinos, chilling around and playing in Maribina Falls’ refreshing water.
