Aggao nac Cagayan June 24 – 29 It is in commemoration of the establishment of the civil government of Cagayan which was established on June 29, 1583.

Local products of the different towns in this province are now showcased at the “Product and Techno Trade Fair” at the capitol grounds as part of the celebration of the 434th Aggao Nac Cagayan.

Of the 29 towns here, 27 joined in this year’s trade fair by putting up their festival booths to promote their products that are mostly hand-crafted by the locals.

The Penablanca town in its cave-inspired booth showcased its fresh water eel caught by Aetas in the upstream part of the town while Amulung showcased its chicharice, made of fried rice and chunky pieces of chicharon and peanut products.
