Batbatan Island, Culasi, Antique is the home of the ethnic people called Tangays. This island harbors a rich biodiversity underwater (coral reefs and exotic tropical animals), above ground (colorful endemic wild birds and a colony of flying foxes and monkeys), and underground (inside its caves), and everything in between (coral cliffs that submerge in clear sea water and the creatures that live there).

There are natural coves, white sand beaches, a shifting sand bar for relaxation; whale shark watching, hiking, mountain climbing, and kite boarding for adventure; the rituals, the legends – the culture. The old watch tower, the ruins and the legends that persisted to exist throughout ages.
